일반대학원 사회학과
사회학은 현대사회에 대한 체계적이고 다양한 지식을 추구하는 사회과학으로서 모든 응용사회과과의 기초이다. 사회학은 사회의 구조와 변동, 개인의 상호작용 및 의사소통 등을 주된 연구대상으로 한다. 본 학과의 주된 교육목표는 사회의 제 현상들에 대한 체계적인 이해, 비판적인 분석능력을 함양시키고, 오늘날과 같이 급변하는 사회 속에서 창조적으로 대응하는 전문인력을 양성하는데 있다. 현장경험자에게는 대학원 교육이 사회에 대한 체계적인 통찰력을 배양할 수 있는 기회가 될 수 있다.
Sociology attempts to theorize a systematic and various knowledge about modern society, and therefore, is a basic field for all of the applied social sciences. Sociology is concerned with the structure and change in society at macro level, and with the social interaction and communication among people at micro level.
The curricula of the Department are designed to introduce students to a systematic understanding about a wide range of social phenomena, as well as to be a specialist who can meet creatively with the problems emerging in a rapid change of modern society. In particular, for students who already have a field experience, the research in the Department can be a good opportunity for cultivating their more systematic insight on society.

지도교수 위촉 및 논문 심사
- 논문 심사: 학위논문청구 심사 신청 한 학기 전 예비발표 시행. 예비발표 완료된 원생에 한하여 심사청구 가능
